Hunters Moon is situated in rural Herefordshire and is surrounded by beautiful countryside such as the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.
We are ideally located for walking Offas Dyke, The Gloucester Way or The Wye Valley Walk.
Local sporting activities including horse riding, mountain biking on dedicated trails, abseiling, canoeing, 4 + 4 off roading or just enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Wye Valley and the Royal Forest of Dean.
We have O. S. maps, guide books and local knowledge of quiet walks and places to eat.
Places to visit and things to see include:- Tintern Abbey, Clearwell Caves, The Forest Railway, the maze at Puzzlewood, National Birds of Prey Centre, Symonds Yat, Dean Heritage Centre, a working coal mine, The Severn Bore.
Towns to visit - Hay-on-Wye for the odd book or ten. Brecon for the Beacons. Wales for castles. Newent for the Shambles.
There is so much to do in the area guests sometimes forget to just sit and relax in our isolated garden.
